I went to 2 interviews with him and Kelly. They were both great and super nice, we laughed and chatted overtime during both interviews. They said I was great- but didn't hire me. Referred me to Lennon Weinberg (and supposedly gave a great recommendation, but I didn't get an interview) Neither hired me. Any tips on nailing a gallery assistant job? (not too sure I want to be one now anyways)
George Adams won't go anywhere. He has plenty of family money. He's from a very old new york family. His dad was the managing partner for Debevoise & Plimpton and his mom is from a very wealthy family. If those fall through, his big sis is married to a billionaire hedge fund manager...
Plus, he's a smart guy! He's in this because he loves art - not the money..
George Adams is decent guy. The people who work for him are also decent folks. I am an unimportant friend of an artist that sells at George Adams and the folks there are always nice and remember who I am.
George is great I have had a solo show with him and also have been included in group shows. He is very intelligent and knows what he is doing. He's been in the business a long time. Very generous with his time. I don't know anyone who doesn't hold him in the highest esteem.
Rat Fink searching for Scuz Finks, Gold Finks.
