Be careful.
I second CG. A bizarre drama queen.
As a juror of Deitch Art Star awhile back, he told an artist to get lost, and paraphrasingly: "we don't want anything to do with that other artworld." I.E., those that are not championed by the status quo; below contempt.
he is really nuts
and nasty in a boring sort of way
a real social climber without any original vision regarding art.
i agree be very careful he is unstable and very insecure which results in cruelty a la "Boys in the Band" which is really tired, also a boring writer
when he came to my studio he was high on something
I think he's great.
And on top of that, he has a sense of humor.
A true wit indeed!!, as well as a thoughtful and incisive writer.
he showed up fucked up to my studio, needless to say it was really weird and inappropriate. He was oddly sexually suggestive and then saying he could help my career. i got ride of him and never called him back
David is a brilliant, hilarious, ridiculously intelligent guy.
David is hilarious and his humor is cutting. If you find him offensive you are probably dim and dull yourself.
I think he is a character, like in the old days. Could he be high? Maybe.
It is true, he has a searing wit and is super-smart, some people don't realize or care and they just see a person who is "different" I think he would be great to have as a professor of literature.
Kinda wish there where more people like him instead of all these corporate robots which infest the art world.
