When they lost the Rothko case to Arne Glimcher it spelled the beginning of the end.

Marlborough has treated me with respect and utter professionalism. They don't participate in a lot of Art Fairs, they don't need to with galleries all over the world. I am one of the younger artists to join the gallery and am excited for the galleries future. I am not blind to the galleries past. I used to deliver pizza, so things are looking up for me. It's easy to complain from a distance.

they do nothing for their artists: Chakaia Booker is simmering in nothingness there as well as Will Ryman. I know they will not let their artists work with other galleries. These artists have been offered solo shows at better galleries who were willing to give them a commission and they lied to all involved. Have stymied the careers of these artists by lying to all. I was ready to purchase a large outdoor Otterness and they lied again. After that there was no way I was going to sell my Botero through them.

Last year Marlborough opened a new two-floor gallery in
Chelsea to showcase the artists who exhibit there. This seems to me like a huge gesture for the artists. Will Ryman had a beautiful show downstairs and his major piece(the bed) was all over Charles Saatchi's website, he's doing well.

Irrelevant roster, arrogant and useless staff. Criminals desperate for money. Do NO WORK FOR THE ARTIST! NONE. Out of touch. Period.
