Great guy, so smart, so accomplished.
The best. Pays his artists on time. Incredibly supportive. Shy but as sincere and sweet as they come.
John is a class act all round. Very supportive, very well respected.

Not a surprise he's RIP. Didn't always pay his freelancers.
Way to hit him on his way out.
He'll be missed, one of the only earnest, small galleries in Chelsea.
JCP closing ends an DIY era. He launched countless carriers and reflected a generational composite.I personally will miss his geeky charm, He always had a unique , positive vibe and intuitive esthetic.
I suppose Winkleman will fill the void.
But where are all those artists going? He had some good ones: Phelan, Henrickson, Elespe...
