Honest. Pays asap. Extremely organized w/ consignments, jpegs, storage, etc. Not sure about his vision, but he takes risks. Nice space.

yes, doesn't show the typical chelsea-looking stuff...

From my original post, I didn't mean I didn't like his vision. Still just watching it develop w/ interest.

Very honest and organized as said above. Believes in his artists and their vision. An absolute pleasure to work with.

I stopped in here on my first LES gallery jaunt. On the way out the desk guy actually seemed interested in my presence. Chatted me up and even helped me find another gallery I was looking for by going online for me. Rare in the gallery world but memorable lack of snootiness. I just wish the art was better.

Jimi Dam Jimi Dam come back to the five and dime!

No just kidding.

Learned the business from Hudson.

Clarrisa is the Queen, Jeffery the King, Hudson is the Jack.

So that makes Jimi . . . a Jackson?

you'll regret it, on any level.

Good times.

Had my first solo show here a few weeks ago and it was an awesome experience. Nathan was great to work with and it was busy but well worth it.

Their program is rather edgy and wonderful. Jimi Dams does his own thing and he does not buck to trends, thus he gets my props.

Thanks, the envoy enterprises crew!

was asked to join the gallery as an artist; after a year of nothing happening, was no longer represented, but was not told. had to find out from the website! pretty shady...

Great, edgy space. Takes chances on non-commercial work and has amazing one-day shows and performances. I worked with them and was glad they gave me the opportunity.

it's called "NP Contemporary Art Center" now, they're a non-profit and they're in desperate straits. Seriously in need of a backer.

Envoy and NP Contemporary Art Center are clearly two different things. I just bought work from Envoy.
Their exhibition program is on hold, because Jimi Dams is seriously ill, but they're still representing artists.

What happened to Jimi????????
