She's awesome. Good writer, infinitely cool, badass musician. More people in the art world should be like her.
OMG, the worst of the NEW YORK based critics. Don't even waste your time reading her articles because they makes little sense and you will have little idea what she is looking at or what it may mean. Gather a bunch of her articles together and they form no over arching narrative or perspective and actually make no sense together - there is no center there. Why is she writing about art? Who is she? Why are editor's hiring her? Doesn't anyone read anymore?
Who are *you*? Your comment reads as if you've been personally scorned by this talented woman. You come across as extremely agitated, like you could seriously use a lie-down. Breathe, internet stranger.
For your information, Martha was once a singer for the NYC-based group Bowery Electric and she is well-versed in NYC culture, arts and entertainment.
So again I ask: just who the f*ck are YOU?
