cool dude, but no solid collectors.
Something must be working - he is expanding into Oliver Kamm's soon to be vacated space.
Bill is a likable guy, but after I helped him with some gallery stuff (in his early East Village days), he twice promised that he would include me in a group show (his idea - I had just helped him because I liked him) and he never delivered. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed.

What does that mean 'no solid collectors'? And how is he placing in not good collections? Please specify.
It seems like this gallery's program is torn in two different directions. Cutsie Japanese artists versus abstract conceptual-ish New York artists.
Perhaps one type of work is paying the bills, while the other is thought provoking and meaningful?
The director seems very cool.

-Bill Brady is an engaging funny guy.
-I have seen and heard Bill Brady imply to a great many artist that he is interested in giving them a exhibition only to never even do a gallery visit.
-Bill Brady has a big raging thing for ladies of the Asian persuasion and to often this effects who he chooses to exhibit and who he hires to work his gallery.
-Regardless of the last 2 points Bill Brady works his ass off and is a clever like a fox kind of guy.

This seems like to doesn't meet the Hows my Dealing standards, I'd love an updated list of why some comments get edited and others don't.
The gallery seems good, who cares if he likes asian ladies if he does good shows.
No space anymore. Roving Gallery or extended vacation.
Word is he's going to operate a space in Kansas City, MO and still try to do some art fairs.
